A dedicated bunch of volunteers and staff
Animal Protectors is run by an all-volunteer board of directors. The Board is a working board – not only do they volunteer their time and expertise to decision making, you will see them working in the shelter office, at fundraising events, walking dogs and cat cuddling. The goal of the Board of Directors is to make decisions that move the shelter forward while continuing to provide the best care possible for the animals at our shelter.

The Board of Directors receives guidance from an Advisory Board. Advisory Board members volunteer their time to assist the Board of Directors with strategy, financial needs, legal matters and veterinary expertise.

Animal Protectors is staffed by a small number of part-time employees. Our employees are dedicated to the animals at our shelter and go above and beyond their job requirements to keep the animals comfortable as they await their forever homes.
